1. How many people can Riversmeet accommodate?

Riversmeet Cottage in Instow, North Devon can sleep up to six guests in three bedrooms.

2. How many bedrooms are at Riversmeet in Instow?

There are three bedrooms at Riversmeet, these include an en-suite double, a double with king size bed and a twin with two single beds. 

3. How many bathrooms does Riversmeet have?

There are two bathrooms at Riversmeet, a family bathroom with shower over the bath and an en-suite shower room. 

4. Are any of the bedrooms located on the ground floor?

All three bedrooms are located on the ground floor as Riversmeet is a reverse living style cottage with the lounge, kitchen and dining area found on the first floor.

5. What features are in the kitchen?

In the kitchen you will find an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer.

6. Is there a washing machine?

Yes, the washing machine can be found on the ground floor in the utility cupboard. 

7. Does the cottage have a garden?

The cottage has an enclosed patio to the front and an enclosed courtyard to the rear.

8. Does the cottage have off road car parking?

No, the cottage does not have designated off road car parking, however, a parking permit to the nearby beach carpark is included with your rental.

9. Are dogs welcome?

Two well behaved dogs are welcome at Riversmeet and charged at an additional £30.00 each.

10. How far is the nearest pub?

Not far at all! All of Instow’s pubs and restaurants, including the Instow Arms, The Wayfarer and The Boathouse are less than a 100 metre walk away. 

11. Does Instow have a shop?

Instow has a deli, John’s of Instow, which can be found just down the road. It is an excellent shop with a wide array of items. The nearest supermarkets can be found in Bideford and include Tesco, Morrisons and Asda. 

12. Does Instow have a beach?

Yes, Instow Beach is located just across the road from the cottage and is a nice dog friendly beach with lots of sand and backed by dunes. Please note as this is an estuary beach the water quality is not always the best and we would not recommend swimming here. 

13. Are there other beaches nearby?

Yes, the blue flag beach at Westward Ho! is around a 10 minute drive. 

14. How do we book the cottage?

To book the cottage please use our online booking calendar or contact us via email or on 01271 377 432.

15. How do we secure a booking?

To secure a booking at Riversmeet we require a 30% deposit with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to arrival.

16. What payment methods are accepted?

We can take payment either via debit/credit card, PayPal, BACS or cheque. 

17. When do we get the refundable security deposit back?

All being well the £300.00 refundable security deposit is returned to you within seven working days of your departure. 

18. Is a cot and high chair available?

Yes, a travel cot and high chair can be requested prior to arrival at no additional charge.

19. Is bed linen and towels included. 

Yes, linen (not cot linen), and towels (not beach towels) are included within the price of the cottage. 

20. What time is arrival and departure?

Arrival time is from 4:30pm and departure is by 10am.

21. Is the property available for christmas?

Yes, Riversmeet will be open and decorated for christmas!
